Happy New Year from all of us at the BC Sustainable Energy Association (BCSEA)! We hope 2025 is off to a fantastic start for you and your families. The beginning of the year has been a busy one, both for BCSEA and the rapidly evolving solar and energy storage markets here in British Columbia. We’re seeing exciting momentum as more homeowners and businesses embrace clean energy solutions to power a sustainable future. As we look ahead, it’s worth noting that 2025 will bring changes at the federal government level in Canada. However, there’s no need to worry about potential impacts on your renewable energy plans. The cost-saving incentives supporting solar and battery storage installations in British Columbia are driven by BC Hydro programs, not federally. You can learn more about these valuable rebates and programs here.
