The Cool It! Climate Change Leadership Training Program is back for the 2024/25 school year. We are once again looking forward to working with students across BC. Our Fall program is well underway – by the end of term we will have worked with more than 100 classes and 2,500 students at both elementary and high school grade levels. We expect that those students will complete more than 7,500 climate and sustainability focused actions through thier participation in our Climate Challenge. In the new year, we will be working in even more municipalities across the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and select regional locations. The Cool it! program combines interactive workshops with a take-home Climate Challenge curriculum. Workshops are delivered either in-person or via virtual conferencing technology. If you are a teacher or know a teacher who would be interested in participating in the Cool It! program in 2025 you can contact cool-it@bcsea.org for more information or to register.
