Paul Tiefensee joined Formula Contractors LTD. in 2007, and given his notable successes, dedication, and operational expertise as a Project Manager was named the General Manager in 2012, Vice President in 2017 and CEO in 2019.  During his tenure as a Project Manager with Formula, Paul oversaw the successful completion of Formula Contractors’ major projects.

As General Manager, Paul maintained his project portfolio while also diligently leading the Formula Management team in the daily operation of all Formula projects.  In this role, Paul focused on utilizing his extensive administrative and operational experience, as well as analytical and critical thinking skills to identify opportunities for cost control/reduction, solutions to complex logistical challenges, and possibilities for technical and operational improvement.

Moving forward, Paul prioritized the introduction of new technology and methodologies to increase safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction to ensure that Formula Contractors remains an industry leader in the heavy civil construction sector. Paul was named company Vice President in 2017 and continued to procure new opportunities and manage existing projects for Formula.

As of July 2019, Paul was named CEO and to date has successfully managed the amalgamation of Formula with Forbes Industrial Contractors.  Besides ensuring synergies were realized in the day to day business, this amalgamation included the restructuring of ownership to include experienced individuals to provide clients Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM), end product specification, turn-key deliverables… Concept to Completion.  Key performance indices that support that this was, and continues to be, a successful merger include: improved safety statistics, 125% increase in revenue, two-years work on the books all while maintaining better than the average of the two merged companies  EBITDA.
