They will explain the potential of the transformative concept of using grid-scale solar and growing plants in the same space. With GWs of agrivoltaics deployed globally, we will focus on how this technology is poised to benefit British Columbia. During this presentation, they will explain the essence of Agrivoltaics, its suitability for BC, its alignment with provincial electricity targets, and the remarkable finding that equipping merely 4% of our agricultural land in Canada with Agrivoltaics has the potential to generate enough clean electricity to power the country.
