Board Recruitment – Solar Alberta

Solar Alberta is seeking passionate and committed community leaders to join our Board of Directors for a minimum of three (3) years.

As a volunteer policy-governance Board, the Board manages the work of the Executive Director and provides high level oversight to Solar Alberta. The Board’s areas of focus are finance, fundraising, human resources, environmental/social/governance considerations, as well as solar industry educational needs and ethics. We aim to attract skilled and committed individuals to help fulfill our mandate. It is also our aim to have a Board which reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.

In particular, we are in need of someone to serve as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors. The Treasurer role is responsible for providing oversight and doesn’t involve actually doing the bookkeeping or monthly/quarterly reporting.
