This webinar will present results from the Northern Regional Energy Dialogues (2025-2026) project that has convened diverse conversations across northern BC on how communities view their energy needs, the challenges they face, and the supports they need to be successful in advancing energy transition initiatives. Common challenges and opportunities across communities will be highlighted, as well as distinct, place-based differences. We will also speak about how the first phase of research influenced the design of the Power for People program (2026-2029) and highlight some of the early steps taken to foster regional collaboration in support of energy transitions, through our two key themes: capacity development and policy and planning.
