Engineering Services Manager, HTEC

With more than 20 years of experience spanning process engineering, biofuels, and municipal infrastructure, Norm brings deep expertise in hydrogen process integration, permitting, construction management, and technical project execution. He is known for his collaborative leadership style and ability to build high-performing, cross-functional teams.

Before joining HTEC, Norm held senior engineering and infrastructure development roles in the pharmaceutical, biofuels, and municipal sectors. He is a registered professional engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC and holds degrees in Biochemistry and Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of Manitoba.

Since joining HTEC in 2018, Norm has been instrumental in delivering hydrogen infrastructure projects across the company’s portfolio. He has brought a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, project risk management, and quality assurance to every stage of project development and execution. Recently promoted to Engineering Services Manager, Norm now leads the coordination of HTEC’s external engineering services. In this role, he continues to advance the company’s technical capabilities and ensure alignment with HTEC’s broader project and growth objectives.
