Strategic Communications & Development Coordinator with the Clean Energy Research Group (CERG) at Simon Fraser University,
Omri Haiven researches agrivoltaics (the integration of solar panels with farming) through a political-economic lens through his work at the Clean Energy Research Group at SFU. Using comparative policy analysis, Omri’s work aims to uncover how we can solve both energy and food security problems while promoting peri-urban economic development. Omri has worked as a farmer and in frontline community food security before getting involved in clean energy and climate change research.
