Local 258 IBEW represents more than 4,000 highly skilled trades & professional workers in British Columbia’s and the Yukon Territory’s publicly owned electric utility, independent power producers, and associated private companies, including power line contracting, electrical manufacturing, utility arborist/tree trimming and traffic control companies. Our women’s committee is committed to increasing the participation of women in our union and our industry including apprenticeship training, leadership opportunities, community engagement and political activism.
