Megan Yang, EIT is an Electrical Engineer-in-Training with BC Hydro’s Transmission Stations Design group. Since joining BC Hydro in 2023, she has worked in Transmission Stations Design, Programs and Contract Management, Protection and Control Planning, and Field Maintenance Engineering, gaining experience across a wide range of electrical utility applications. Her work has included developing engineering standards, supporting NERC compliance initiatives, delivering equipment replacement projects, performing technical studies, and supporting hydroelectric generating station operations and maintenance.

Megan is also a co-chair of BC Hydro’s monthly Women in Engineering meetup, helps organize the company’s annual International Women in Engineering Day event, and supports mentorship and professional development initiatives throughout the year. She is passionate about encouraging and supporting the next generation of engineers.
