The Province of BC has recently introduced the BC Home Energy Planner as a great first step towards understanding what upgrades may improve your home’s energy efficiency and comfort.
This was among the reasons that Efficiency Canada selected BC as the top province in their 2024 scorecards. We first hear from Brett Auger the Product Manager in charge of the implementation of the Planner.
The planner is built on a platform by the local company Properate. Following Brett’s presentation we hear from Arman Mottaghi, Properate’s CEO who recently spoke at COP29 about BC’s home energy rating innovations.
