The Future of Wind Energy in British Columbia

Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) Vancouver chapter is pleased to present an event highlighting Wind Energy in British Columbia!
About this event
The world’s demand for energy continues to grow, meanwhile the world needs to transition to less carbon-intensive sources of energy. For Canada to achieve its 2050 climate targets, cleaner sources of energy need to replace more carbon intensive ones. Wind energy has the potential to play a large role in this energy transition and is currently being leveraged in other Canadian provinces, but does British Columbia have the regulatory framework in place as well as the technical industry expertise to benefit?
